The Panther Academy is our way of giving freshmen a little extra support during a critical transition year.  We've figured out a few ways to make your life easier and your first high school experience more successful.  Here's what you will receive:

- Placement on a team with four academic teachers (English, Math, Social Studies, Science)  who can easily meet and communicate with you and your parents/guardians.  These teachers will get to know you sooner and can better help with any problems or concers that might come up.

- More opportunities for experiential learning, like field trips and service projectsl.

- A freshman assistant principal - Tory Richey and Counselor - Kari Wilson who are always there to help and support you.

- The same WPHS schedule, with all freshmen level elective options.
