CCC
Important Information
What is the CCC
The College & Career Center
provides a wealth of information in regards to post secondary planning.
This includes college applications, bulletins, and books. Students
can get help locating scholarships for which they are eligible, as well
as keep up on what scholarships are currently being distributed or accepted.
Also
available is financial aid information, grants and various other applications,
and apprenticeships, junior college and community college information. |

CHOICES PROGRAM
The CCC not only
has current catalogues, books, videos and other sources of information,
but we also have the CHOICES program. The CHOICES program provides students
with career, school and financial aid searches, along with much more.
It's typical for students to feel overwhelmed with the choices available
to them after school. The CHOICES program provides a starting
place to help students from their Freshman year on. CHOICES helps
them discover their strengths and to help them get organized. |

Volunteers
Although
the College Career Center is overseen by the WPHS Counseling Center, it
is staffed and operated by volunteer parents. The Center is always
in need of volunteer parents to increase the availability to students.
We need volunteers who can spend at least a couple of hours on a particular
weekday of your choice. If you are interested in joining the CCC Parent
team, we welcome you with enthusiasm. Please call the Counseling
Center at 686-2074. |
